These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of machinise.com (the "Site"), operated by Machinise K.K. ("Machinise", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

You may browse, view, and share content from the Site for informational and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Site for commercial use without our written permission;
• interfere with or disrupt the operation, integrity, or security of the Site;
• use the Site in violation of any applicable law, or to infringe the rights of others;
• misrepresent your affiliation with Machinise, or use our name, logos, or brand assets without permission.

Products and services

The Site describes Machinise's products — MachineCraft, Machinaut, and Machinova — and the open-source research we commercialize through QMI Lab. Use of any product is governed by the separate terms for that product, not by these Terms. Descriptions on the Site are for general information and may change as the products evolve.

No warranty

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Machinise will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all text, graphics, logos, and trademarks on the Site are the property of Machinise K.K. or its licensors. Open-source projects referenced on the Site — such as Lodestar and Asterism — are licensed under their own terms, published with each project.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites, including our product sites, GitHub, and social media. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle your information.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. By continuing to use the Site after an update, you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising from these Terms or the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
